I really love and appreciate your feedback. I have been out and about tracking down new ideas and fun article topics. Some new colours are entering the wedding scene. Jewellery is popular in rose gold, wedding dresses are white with black touches, and men’s tuxedo jackets are interesting in pink and pale blue hues. There are fascinating hats and veils to consider. Then you have to think about the latest concept–do you change into a short dress for the reception–and dance the night away, or do you want to wear colourful shoes? This year’s wedding season is so fascinating. Till next time…
Good morning everyone,

My note pad, my laptop, my cell phone - anything I can write on comes with me everywhere! Write to me if there’s anything you want to see in the next issue. Share your thoughts.

Have you ever thought of taking dance lessons before your wedding? It’s a fun thing to do together in preparation for the wedding and something special that will stay with you forever after. Whether you’re more of a ballroom dance or a Latin dance kind of person, twirling to the rhythm of a Fox Trot or a waltz definitely adds a little pizzaz to your wedding event. Private or group lessons are available to hone the dance star in you. Enjoy learning about posture, style, technique, dance habits and etiquette. It’s like learning a whole new language. Let me tell you, I got a chance to witness it at my friends wedding, and wow, its spectacular.

One of the reasons that my job is the best job in the world is that I get to witness, hear about, or read about all good things. Almost every day something new and inspirational comes my way. Something I recently heard about is a butterfly release. They raise Monarchs or Painted Lady butterflies and prepare them for the very special occasion - your wedding. These creatures of beauty represent anything from freedom, spirituality, love and eternity. They have been the subjects of great many poems and songs, and now you can have them for your wedding. Wouldn’t a butterfly reference be a great way to start your vows? Check it out.
” If anyone desires a wish to come true they must first capture a butterfly and whisper that wish to it.
Since a butterfly can make no sound, the butterfly cannot reveal the wish to anyone but the Great Spirit who hears and sees all.
In gratitude for giving the beautiful butterfly its freedom, the Great Spirit always grants the wish.
So, according to legend, by making a wish and givingthe butterfly its freedom, the wish will be taken to the heavens and be granted.
Today we have gathered to grant this couple all our best wishes and are about to set these butterflies free in the trust all these wishes will be granted “

It’s that time of year again…the time where the anticipation begins-for us and for the brides. Our Elegant Wedding Bridal Showcase is fast approaching and I am more excited than ever. This year, I think will be even more spectacular than the last, if you can imagine that. We have a few surprises, a few firsts, and as always a lot of WOW factors. The flowers, the gowns, the wedding venues…everything you need to plan the most extraordinary event of your life will come together at the fabulous Windsor Ballroom. Save the date girls: November 8, 2009.
It’s been a long time since I’ve heard of any bride changing into a different wedding dress for the reception. But guess what girls? While researching this question, I actually came across quite a number of brides who are doing just that. With all the fabulous collections of wedding gowns, sometimes it’s just too difficult for some to choose—princess or vixen? They want to wear that full-skirt or the fancy train but they also love the something mini, something more daring that shows off their curves—and possibly isn’t even white. So, I say why not? You can have it all. If you want two of the most fabulous dresses for that day, then go for it. It’s your day, enjoy, savour, and cherish the moments.
This year’s fascinating wedding gowns bring out your magnificence with touches of drama and romance. As I sifted through pages and pages of the latest gowns, I began to understand the reason I loved this year’s collections so much. This is exactly what a bride should be—always fabulous, always in fashion. Old Hollywood-style dramatic designs show off rich detailing. Full shirts are back and interesting variations of the one-shoulder style offer a viable option to a variety of body-styles. Once again, I was in awe of the sumptuous Vera Wang collection. Fanciful gowns layered with different fabrics, hand-painted flowers, bows, and elaborate draping will entice even the most traditional bride.
