Real Wedding by Phototerra Studio

Lauren Amundsen and Geoff Burt met in a rhetoric class at University of Waterloo in fall 2004. After dating since December 2004, Geoff proposed in Paris in August 2008, and the wedding was planned for July 18th, 2009. The wedding was small and intimate, with lots of Spanish-style tapas and wine for the 60 guests in attendance. Saturday July 18th was bright, clear, and sunny, defying weather predictions for the weekend.

Guests danced the night away until after 1 a.m., at which point an after-party was held at Geoff's family's century-old farmhouse on the banks of nearby Consecon Lake. The wedding was held at the Grange Winery, a favourite of the couple, who often enjoy trips to Prince Edward County with their friends to stay at the farmhouse and visit several local wineries for tastings.

 

Phototerra was chosen because Lauren met Tally Greenberg at the CARLU wedding show a few months before the wedding; Lauren was impressed with their tasteful, low-key approach to natural-looking photography. The photographers, Anouk and Mark, were extremely creative and innovative in their photos, and were professional and easy-to-work-with throughout the wedding. Geoff and Lauren are thrilled with their photos and would recommend Phototerra to anyone looking for elegant memories of their wedding day.
