Real Wedding by Stephen Franklin Photography
Matt and I met in our first year of college. From the very first time I met Matt, I knew he was the one. With his humour, good looks, and charm, he always made me smile. When we started dating and getting to know one another better, we realized how perfect we were for each other.
Four years later I was whisked back to that classroom where we had met. Right there, in a quiet, empty classroom, Matt got down on one knee and proposed to me. What a special moment. And so the planning began. The venue was booked, the colours were picked and the dress was made. I was on my way to marrying the boy in the back of the classroom. As a little girl you plan your wedding day over and over in your head. You want it to be perfect. Our day was nothing less. From my mom and my 8 bridesmaids helping me jump into my dress that took months to make, to the groom and his groomsmen dressed to the nines; all the way to the ceremony at Assumption Parish. We cherish every moment of that special day; from getting ready in the morning to the last dance of the night.

In the afternoon Stephen Franklin Photography took us downtown for a really spectacular urban photo shoot. Boy what a great time. Stephen made taking pictures fun and memorable for all of us. It was something we talked about for many weeks after. Stephen is so talented, professional, and personal, that he made us feel comfortable the whole time. We knew we were in good hands and that is why were able to have a relaxing and intimate day with our wedding party. Our reception was held at Liuna Station, which looked perfect; it was exactly what we wanted. Their staff was so helpful, and made our night flow easily and flawlessly. Our Tiffany blue lighting and beautiful candelabras made the ballroom immaculate. The food was delicious and the dancing was nonstop!
We received our photos from Stephen Franklin a few weeks later. Immediately after going through them I relived the whole day and felt all the emotions all over again. Some people say a picture says a thousand words, while Stephens Franklin's were able to tell a story, our story.
