Sometimes your perfect match is not right around the corner. Jorge moved to Montreal right around the time that Georgia left for Florida. About 2 years later Jorge moved to the West Coast of Florida while Georgia was in the East Coast. Destiny finally brought them together, not only to the same town, but even to the same building! And even though they moved into the building at around the same time, it still took them almost a year to meet each other through mutual friends.
Their friendship blossomed into love after a trip to Guatemala between the rain-forest and the always beautiful Lake Atitlan. Thus it was only appropriate that Jorge surprised Georgia with an engagement proposal during a trip to Mexico for the Christmas holidays.
A date was set for May 31st in Montreal, close to Georgia's family and friends which was also convenient for Jorge's internationally dispersed family.
