A beautiful crisp late fall afternoon was exactly what Stephanie and Lucas were hoping for. The day was rich with blazing red and orange leaves on the trees falling on the lush green grass complementing the red and white roses in Stephanie’s bouquet. The Guild Inn provided the backdrop for their romantic stroll through the grounds. The couple meandered through the grounds and gardens filled with architectural splendor enhancing this romantic afternoon. This event was documented by Brian Stephens of Green Gecko Photography. He captures images with spirit. Brian documents the events of the day through a unique blend of freestyle photojournalism and lifestyle approach. He captures the laughs, the crying and those memorable moments. His relaxed disposition put the couple at ease. The personal touch of knowing the names of family members and wedding party helps us to work together throughout the event as we build relationships which often last for years.
After leaving the park it was off to the hall. The ceremony was performed by Kathryn Cook of the Humanist Association. The lighting was dim with the chandelier glow adding to the warmth of the ceremony. In all a very elegant affair.
All the personal touches added to the day. The brides wrap was made by an Aunt, the vases in the cocktail reception area and the centre pieces were all made by the groom. "These are the things that add the special memories to our day"
After a night of dancing and mingling under the stunning light display the couple headed off for their honeymoon in Thailand where they were looking forward to an Elephant Trek.
