Real Wedding by Christina Esteban Photography

Christina arrived on February 13th, 2009, the eve of Valentine’s Day. She would be attending the annual photography conference, WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) at the MGM Grand on the Vegas Strip. At the Grand, the chapel was scheduled to host the weddings of 18 brides and grooms on Valentine’s Day. The hotel was buzzing with specialized photographers from around the world, eager to be awarded so many opportunities to capture vibrant Vegas nuptials.

Newlywed’s Krista-Marie & Simon from Surrey, BC had just exchanged vows in the Chapel and were celebrating by sharing drinks with their entourage at the martini bar near the chapel.

 

They had just wrapped up their traditional photo shoot as part of their wedding package. Through Christina’s vision and guidance, Krista-Marie and Simon were about to experience a very unique photographic journey. Christina met up with this rather edgy couple at the martini bar before the shoot to gain a better understanding of their distinctive personalities, their passion for each other, and their inimitable style and flair. This intimate perception would allow for a relaxed session and a wholly “one of a kind” final product. Through her lens, Christina was able to capture and enhance their personalities by incorporating the surrounding architecture, and appropriate ambient vibe.

With careful direction from Christina, this rock star couple eased into the shoot with confidence, style and total comfort. “Vegas style baby!” Christina Esteban is a refreshing addition to the Montreal Wedding Photography community.
