Real Wedding by La V Photo - Annie & Jean Francois
Once upon a time in a beautiful garden world, a bride and groom had a magical evening.
With two blossoming careers, and a very busy schedule, this Montreal couple had a dream of getting married in the city’s beautiful Botanical Gardens. Time and organization was a concern.
Built in 1931, the garden’s primary mission was education and research. However in June of 2008, following a major renovation and preparation of a new exposition, wedding planners Maryse Noël and Julie Chacra were hard at work. The task was to take an incredible location filled with beauty and majesty, and turn it into a full kitchen with dining and dancing, ready to seat 90 people.
With the groom waiting nervously in the front and guests standing in her honour, the bride was escorted down the aisle by her mother. The ceremony was simple and sweet. As family watched them leave after making their vows, a horse shoe had been left for them in the aisle, so that they may retrieve it to begin their new live with luck as well as love.
