It was the 7th grade and Navdeep and Anuradha were coming back from a high school volleyball tournament when Navdeep first approached and spoke his first words to her. They were “Can I have some gum?” And Anuradha, not impressed in the slightest, said “sure” and reluctantly gave him a piece. They wouldn’t speak again until the 11th grade when Navdeep finally grew taller than her. I guess their love had time to marinate for those 4 years because once they danced together in the 11th grade they became inseparable ever since.
After years of studying, traveling, and establishing careers it was time to take that next step and Navdeep proposed to Anuradha in front of her workplace, banner and all, on bended knee. And as they say the rest is history and in this case lead to their magical wedding.
They always knew they would have a unique wedding with a Filipino Catholic Ceremony and a Sikh/Indian ceremony, followed by the big party of course. And it all panned out just as they planned. The wedding comprised of traditional elements from India with a modern flair. The picturesque scenery of old Montreal at the sacred heart chapel and Navdeep atop his bejeweled horse was all blended together over the long weekend. They danced the night away cherishing every moment and looking forward to their new life full of many more.
When seeking out a photographer/videographer for our wedding we wanted someone who was as unique as we felt we were. A studio who not only had talented photographers but who could truly bring out the story behind the pictures. Phototerra was, and is, head and shoulders above any of the other studio’s we considered. From our first experience of sitting down with them they set the bar and standard that we measured everyone else by and in the end they captured the moments we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives.
