Real Wedding by Studio 55 Productions

When Gerry first set eyes on Maya at a gathering of mutual friends, he was instinctively drawn to her. Gerry was captivated by Maya’s beauty and he found her shy manner endearing. His instinct was right on because they hit it off instantly.

On their first date, as they dined and listened to some live jazz while getting to know one another over a martini or two, it became clear they had much in common. It’s more likely though that it was their differences that brought them together. Maya found Gerry charismatic and energetic with a great sense of humor, which was quite a contrast to her reserved and timid nature. They were so different yet together they fit like two pieces of a puzzle. Quickly their friendship turned into a budding romance that blossomed thereafter into a “sweet proposal” - literally! The ring was tucked inside a chocolate truffle.

After announcing their engagement, Maya and Gerry quite naturally turned to the studio that had come so highly recommended by their friends to document this most meaningful occasion: Studio 55 Productions.

From the very first moment they entered the Studio’s stylish and trendy Montreal loft, Maya and Gerry felt that this Studio’s approach was distinctive. The Studio 55 Team, friendly and genuine, made them feel right at home. In addition, Maya and Gerry realized early on that they were dealing with professional, dedicated and passionate artists for whom image creation is an art form.

 

At one of Montreal’s oldest and most exquisite basilicas renowned for its gothic revival architecture, surrounded by their family and their closest friends, Maya and Gerry pronounced their eternal wedding vows. Maya, an exquisite bride, was elegantly gowned; wearing a delicately flowing veil, she radiated grace and style. Gerry, finely dressed in a tailored silk tux, looked strikingly handsome. As his bride walked down the aisle towards him, pride and joy overwhelmed Gerry.

Following the ceremony, they went off on their photo shoot with “The Team” at a historic Montreal site: Château Dufresne. The Château, with its beautiful murals and painted ceilings, provided a spectacular backdrop for the striking and dramatic imagery created by the Team at Studio 55 Productions, imagery which Maya and Gerry would treasure forevermore.

Throughout the entire wedding day, Studio 55 captured the very essence that made Maya and Gerry’s day so distinctive. They particularly loved all the details documented. They are true professionals; their approach is journalistic, with a touch of fashion, glamour and loads of fun. The Team’s synergy and passion was contagious.
