Grecian goddesses, nymphs and dryads became Edera Jewelry designer Ivy Long’s muse for her brand new ethereal bridal “Woodland Goddess” collection. Turning to motifs from nature for inspiration, Long utilized soft petals of roses and daisies and the organic shapes of leaves, vines, seashells and dainty butterflies as the foundation of her ethereal and magical designs.
“I design for brides who love the romance of past eras and are looking for bridal jewellery and accessories that are unique, meticulously crafted, and heirloom-quality,” explains Long. “I create each piece entirely by hand in [my] Vermont studio using old world lacemaking techniques combined with couture bead embroidery. All of my designs incorporate vintage materials, such as beads and crystals, to instantly add ‘something old’ to a wedding ensemble.”
