With a colour palette of lilac and peach, and a theme of “classy urban forest” in mind, no bling was necessary for Sandra and Fadie’s wedding decor. Instead, all elements appeared in its natural beauty, courtesy of Royal Orchid Florist and Renaissance Event Rentals and Planning. Centrepieces were fixed on birch cut-outs, tables were laid out with soft sequinned linens and to follow an urban woodsy mood, lighting was set to purple. To match the wedding theme, Sandra put baby’s breath in her hair and flowers on her veil.

Sandra and Fadie first met and became friends during frosh week at the University of Toronto. At the beginning of the week, the two were split into different groups, but somehow by the end, they became friends. Over the next four years at school Sandra and Fadie shared the same classes, spent tons of time studying together and, after a fateful night out celebrating the end of exams, came to realize that they felt something beyond friendship. Find this wedding in the current issue of Toronto’s Elegant Wedding Magazine on stands now.
