After John proposed to Blake with a gorgeous vintage ruby ring once belonging to her grandmother, Blake knew that it would become the basis for her entire wedding planned by Plum & Poppy. As the perfect embodiment of classic Hollywood glamour, ruby and gold accents appeared in all forms: floral arrangements (each standing at five feet), linens, place settings and table numbers. With beautiful stained glass windows of the Scottish Rite Cathedral as a backdrop and the First Impressions Band serenading everyone with Sinatra tunes, everyone was taken back in time for the ceremony. The night proceeded with guests being graced by cocktails and the most decadent hors d’oeuvres from the second floor balcony overlooking the glamorous 1940s inspired wedding.
