On a lovely September day in the little northern Ontario town of Port Loring, Leah and Scott professed their love for each other on the shoreline of Wilson Lake.
Leah and Scott’s love for the outdoors was the inspiration for this rustic chic wedding. A ceremony tent was erected over the bride’s family dock where the couple exchanged vows. Guests enjoyed the nuptials with a spectacular view of the lake. Florals included branches, birch accents, roses, hydrangeas and hanging amaranthus. Wedding designer, Rachel Clingen, along with their team, transformed a simple tent into a gorgeous reception venue. Custom-made birch centerpieces, topped with gorgeous florals had guests swooning.
The mix of rustic and modern elements created a dramatic atmosphere. Rustic with a contemporary spin was created with a lucite head table topped with wood chargers and birch candles and, of course, loads of flowers, taking rustic elegance to a whole new level. Along with their friends and family, Scott and Leah shared an evening of unforgettable memories and enjoyed a spectacular Northern Ontario sunset.
