PALE YELLOW WEDDING THEME FOR SUMMERTIME

Pale Yellow Wedding Theme For Summertime

“On the morning of July 11th, 2009, Nick and I woke up early and headed to the Abercorn bakery just minutes from the Yanow Country Home. When we returned home, we walked to one of our favorite spots, a natural rock bed in the garden. Unknown to me, Nick had stashed a ring beneath a small shrub nearby, which was layered with sunflowers and daisies (my favorites). Curious about the out-of-place floral arrangement, I turned around to find Nick on one knee (with the ring box upside down). The cheese croissant I was eating dropped from my mouth and I was in shock…I eagerly agreed to marry him.

“One year later on August 8th, 2010, a light rain showered down on us as we became husband and wife over our favorite rock bed. Knowing that I was about to marry the man I still got butterflies for, the man who made me feel safe, loved and beautiful gave me a sense of calm the morning of our wedding. I couldn’t wait to meet my smiling groom under the yellow wedding chuppah. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed infusion jars filled with PIMS and mojitos as well as a vodka oyster bar…after all Nick and I had met over oysters at a party we were both working in 2004. Under the tent, everybody filled their bellies with delicious food and danced and laughed the night away. It was simply the best celebration and night we have ever had.”
