Fascinated by the beauty of French couture and bespoke fashion, Mike and Carmelina hired wedding designer Rachel A. Clingen to bring their vision to life with a creative luxurious feel inspired by Versailles and Marie Antoinette. Rachel embraced the concept and created fabulous decor with stunning florals, bold draping and glamorous combinations of black and gold candelabras.
The extravagant look was accented with vintage details and included rich velvets, gold mercury vessels and tables named after the likes of Coco Chanel, Christian Louboutin and Givenchy to name a few. A captivating custom-made gown detailed with Chantilly French lace by Valencienne was certainly a show stopper. Surrounded by elegant candle light and luxurious details, The Fermenting Cellar was transformed into the “Maison de Haute Couture,” (the house of high fashion) and guests celebrated as if in the Palace of Versailles… just the way Mike and Carmelina wanted it.
