This couples’ personality is found in every design aspect of their wedding. With the grooms’ strong graphic design background, bold hues like bright yellow were used in the colour palette. With the bride employed as a teacher, a strong presence of books was made evident within the decor. Hundreds of books were covered in beautiful designer papers and also used as escort cards. The books sat alphabetically on the book shelf so that guests could search for their name and pick the book off the shelf as though they were in a library. An innovative way to personalize your wedding day! Books also served as the table numbers. In place of favours, the couple made donations to the Cancer society. The donation details were printed on custom chocolate bar wrappers which were added to guests’ place settings. That way, when they unwrapped their custom chocolates all the particulars were printed on the back.
No event is complete without a fully designed sweet table. Using their colour palette, coral, pink and yellow shades were used to create a customized spread of delicious desserts: macarons, lemon parfaits and even brightly coloured Champagne cocktails were on display. Giant lemonade dispensers were setup throughout the venue and had sparkling cranberry lemonade available for guests the entire night. There were adorable pink striped straws for them to use in their signature cocktails. Oversized white balloons were the perfect prop to add to the design. Each detail added, represented the unique characteristics of the couple and became a true vision for their perfect day.
