After visiting The Florentine building in downtown Alabama, bride Allison knew it would make the perfect spot for her 1920s Gatsby wedding. Her vintage Jenny Packham gown, the refurbished 1920s car that rolled up to the building and rich gold decor all played a part in bringing the roaring ’20s back to life for her big day. Custom monogrammed invites evocative of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless tale were complemented by dark reds and gold seen in the florals, table linens and seating. Bridesmaids and groomsmen kept it black-tie friendly while the bride and groom stood out in white. As for the cake, a delicious four-tiered hexagonal shape flavoured red velvet and vanilla matched the woodwork of the dance floor. Everyone in attendance was dressed to the nine’s and partied like Gatsby…because a little party never killed nobody, right?
