Maria and Vivake’s undeniable love and passion for art and architecture served as the central vision for the theme of their romantic wedding. Having both come from Engineering and Architectural backgrounds, the historical King Edward Hotel was a perfect choice for their celebration planned by Monarchy Blue Weddings & Events. With grand entranceways, cathedral ceilings and regal columns, it became the backdrop to stunning decor, which included a floral wall hung behind the head table. Tablescapes consisted of rich linens, Chivari chairs and a mixture of stately candles and low floral clusters made the room come to life, while personalized menus and custom-made artisanal chocolates for each guest added a personal level to the experience. Ivory, gold and blush tones had a piece in all elements of the decor, dresses and floral arrangements. As for the stunning showpiece: a five tier cake with each layer a different flavour to delight the palate.
