Whimsical Outdoor Wedding In Toronto

On a beautiful day in September, Aleksandra from Aleksandra & Co. Events and her fiancé Yuriy tied the knot at Black Creek Pioneer Village. They said their “I do’s” in front of their closest family and friends as the morning sun streamed through the trees around them. A custom floral arch from Flowers Time and oversized balloons from Sugar Girlee & Co. served as their backdrop, with sweet morning treats from The Cupcake Diva.

In an effort to be a little non-traditional, Aleksandra and Yuriy opted not to have a bridal party. Instead, their siblings served as the maid of honour and best man. They also decided to plan a lunch versus a sit-down dinner as they were leaving for their honeymoon immediately after the celebrations.

With a rich background in planning and designing weddings, Aleksandra designed a wedding reflective of her and Yuriy’s passion for travel and adventure. The couple chose a palette inspired by the rich colors of their favorite season (fall), which was evident in every detail. A whimsical lunch reception followed at Paradise Banquet Hall. Rich red centerpieces with lush foliage adorned the tables. Gold rimmed glassware and dinnerware from Chair-man Mills lined the tables with maroon napkins folded daintily over the regal charger plates.
