RUSTIC SMALL TOWN ONTARIO WEDDING

Kate and Chris celebrated their rustic indoor/outdoor wedding

Kate and Chris celebrated their rustic indoor/outdoor wedding at the Old Fort William Historical Park in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Having grown up in the country outside a small town, Kate felt it only appropriate to centre her decor around that type of environment with natural colours, white and green foliage and wood accents. To add some elegance to the mix, Kate incorporated copper charger plates, white linens and chair covers and a variety of unique lanterns filled with hydrangeas as the focal point for each centrepiece. Also, instead of name cards, Kate wrote each person’s name in gold handwriting on a prayer leaf. With the Kaministiquia River and Canada’s original Fur Trade Post as a backdrop, Patricia Recourt Photography had no difficulty capturing the essence of rustic beauty.
