Liana and Lorenzo first met on February 7, 2009, while Lorenzo was out celebrating his birthday. A year and a half later, Lorenzo proposed and the wedding date was scheduled! They both wanted their wedding guests to walk away having experienced an evening of elegance, love, and enjoyment. They turned to the professionals at Decor With Grandeur Inc. and immediately recruited Walter Galvao for the event design and onsite coordinating services.
From the initial meeting Liana and Lorenzo wanted the decor to be different from any other wedding before, but at the same time be elegant. This is why they chose a shiny color palette for their silver wedding theme. Guests traveled from as far as Belgium to join in on this joyous celebration. The food was very important to the couple and guests enjoyed an antipasto bar at the beginning with a selection of martini ice luges followed by a lavish dinner and late-night sweet table buffet. They turned to the professionals at Copper Creek Golf & Country Club to execute this accordingly.
The venue was absolutely stunning with all the décor elements installed such as the glass charger plates adorned with silver beads around the outside. Rectangular ivory satin napkins were custom fitted with a rosette to match the custom-fitted overlay with ivory raw silk underlay. The centerpiece was a major focal point: a tall plexi stand with hanging crystal garlands and pendants, with suspended white dendro orchids. The top of the centerpiece consisted of three white gladiolus, white hydrangeas, white calla lilies, ivory roses, and white alstroemeria. At the base of each centerpiece were three different-sized cylindrical vases with floating candles that reflected off the mirror base. The seating consisted of clear plexi Chiavari chairs with custom-fitted seat pads to match the overlay.
