For Toronto bride-to-be Chloe’s something blue bridal shower theme, she utilized a motif she knew would play perfectly to her Dutch background: blue porcelain! From the vases to the charger plates, hand-painted cake and sweets, every detail had the blue porcelain touch. For a whiff of freshness, tables were fixed with either low tulip centrepieces or tall leafy arrangements accented by blush roses. Along with delicious mimosas, every guest was given authentic dutch mints, Sloane teas and a ceramic-inspired cookie from the blue- and white-coated sweet table. The cherry on top of it all was the blue porcelain-inspired pillows Chloe’s aunt made for the venue.
