“My vision for this shoot was, first of all, a winter wedding. The bride Jackie also wanted an elegant and royal style. I loved the idea of contrasting elegance against a rustic farm view. That was what inspired me for the shoot. When I had the vision for the ‘sofa shots’ I was getting so desperate I nearly gave up on the idea because I couldn’t find an antique sofa. But when I want something, I’m persistent. Luckily, after a whole day of driving around, I found the perfect piece at Furniture Consignment Center, as well as the rug and side table. (They have great stuff there. Definitely worth checking out!) Table was all designed by Jackie (rentals from Vermont Tent Company), the cake (Snaffel Sweets) and florals (Creative Muse) translated the contrast we were looking for.
