An enchanted forest set the scene for this modern-day Snow White. Designer and owner of Mademoiselle Artsy Stéphanie Laliberté recreated the classic fairytale by showcasing the contrasting elements of beauty, simplicity and grandeur surrounding the story. “My modern Snow White is really delicate and romantic,” said Laliberté. “She is simple yet her long airy dress has a glamorous look, like a princess.” Laliberté was inspired by the shimmering reflection of the sun on a bed of snow and the beauty and contrast of white snow surrounded by the dark naked trees of winter. Her colour palette combined several silver jewels and white accents, surrounded by the dark gloom of the forest. “Finally, it was all the red apples that completed the dramatic end to our Snow White fairytale. The apples that led her to her prince charming.” Drawing inspiration from nature’s exquisite beauty and fairytales, she created a scene of everlasting memories and timeless beauty.
