Inspired by the recent Hollywood movie Snow White & The Huntsman, this classic fairytale was brought to life with a regal wedding photoshoot. The shoot tells the love story of the innocent princess, Snow White, pure in white, and the handsome and brooding Huntsman she meets in the dark forest and falls in love with at first sight. With a little twist, her childhood love Prince Charming plays the best man, all while trying to win back her heart. Traditional Snow White shoots generally feature a red color palette, however, this one gave a fresh take on the theme and incorporate the in-vogue yellow with sunny accents throughout.
Snow White shines in two gorgeous wedding gowns: The first is a Martina Liana silk satin organza gown with ivory lace and gold satin sash from Fairytales Bridal Boutique. The second is a Silvana Tedesco fitted drop waist bodice gown with a full silky tulle skirt, featuring hand-cut embroidered flowers and a black velvet sash. Viktoria Novak designed and handcrafted an exclusive one-off headpiece featuring delicate chantilly lace and embellished with Swarovski crystals set in rhodium plating. The delicate crystal earrings, bracelet, and hair clips were from Bliss Design. Snow White’s bridal bouquet consisted of blushing bride, Billy buttons, ranunculus, hypericum, hellebores, sweet pea, lotus flowers sprayed gold and antique door handles.
The invitation, designed by Sweet Scarlet Designs, had a regal and fairytale feel incorporating a 3D gold mirror frame, wax seal and gold satin ribbon. The vintage white dining table was adorned with a stunning floral arrangement by The Bouquets of Ascha Jolie, consisting of moss stretching across the length of the table and flowing over the sides, filled with golden delicious yellow roses, hanging amaranthus, ranunculus, and Helleborus. Styled By Belle set the table with crystal embellishments and gold charger plates, antique gold plated dinnerware, vintage silverware, and crystal goblets. A crystal chandelier hung from a tree arch above the table and guests sat on clear Chivari chairs. The place cards consisted of gold-sprayed apples with name cards printed on a leaf shape attached to the tops of the apple stems. The menus were printed on circle cut-outs that were laid on the dinner plates. The forest reception featured an elegant dessert and cake table. A vintage gold dresser table was laid with a three-tiered white wedding cake featuring broderie anglaise ruffles and delicate lemon yellow bow detailing, with the tiers separated by glittery gold risers. Sweet treats included: vanilla cupcakes with white sugar flowers and a single, sparkling, gold cupcake; homemade yellow meringues with gold sparkle dust; homemade yellow and white marshmallow squares; white ruffled heart-shaped vanilla bean cookies with gold sparkle highlights; gold glitter apple cookies and lemon, vanilla and gold chocolate-flavored macarons.”
