VINTAGE AQUARELLE BRIDAL JEWELLERY

Vintage Bridal Jewellery Inspiration

Taking its name from the French word “aquarelle,” the bridal collection by Edera Jewelry finds its inspiration from a translucent watercolor painting technique popularly used in 19th century France.

Working with a soft colour palette of powder blue, apricot and blush pink, each bridal jewellery piece translates into an ethereal layer of pale hues. To recreate the watercolor effect, Edera Jewelry designer Ivy Long hand-painted luxurious silk organza to mimic the petals of delicate flowers. Floral motifs run throughout the bridal jewellery collection and many of the pieces are embellished with dainty wired sprigs, referencing the landscape as inspiration. Vintage crystals in white opal, as well as semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls, introduce other small touches of colour throughout the collection.
