THAILAND-INSPIRED BRIDAL SHOWER

Thailand Inspired Bridal Shower

As a way of transporting guests to the honeymoon destination, bride Julie asked her planner to create a Thailand-inspired bridal shower. From authentic Thai entertainment to vibrant decor, every component respected the desired theme—and bride-to-be’s outfit.

As guests arrived at the venue, each were given a personalized boarding pass to enter the banquet hall. Greeting cards were placed in a briefcase adorned with the world map and guests were asked to sign a customized world puzzle with congratulatory words. Also, a mini elephant seating card was waiting for each guest to direct them to their table, aptly named after cities the couple planned to visit on their honeymoon.

Prior to the seated lunch, guests visited a pad thai station for an authentic snack paired with a vibrant cocktail. At each table, a royal blue parasol was mounted as a centrepiece accompanied by a bouquet of colourful roses, spider mums, hydrangeas and other seasonal flowers. Gold ornate charger plates, as well as a silk pashmina scarf, were given to guests as favours.

After dinner, and a few games, guests were surprised with a special performance and lesson from local professional Thai dancing troupe. The focal point of the dessert table was a custom four-tier cake topped none other than with a gold elephant. From macarons to mini cupcakes, cookies and bonbons, each dessert perfectly matched the colours and design of the cake.
