POWDER BLUE AND PINK WEDDING THEME

Blue and Pink Wedding
Written by Christina Rowan

A blue and pink wedding perfect for spring

The goal of this beautiful blue and pink wedding shoot was to reflect the style and tradition of Chinese trends. Starting with the florals, all arrangements were inspired by Chinese fashion designer Xiong Ying’s Heaven Gaia collection. For an unstructured, organic feel, three traditional “lucky” flowers—according to Chinese culture—were incorporated: peonies (symbolizing richness and peace); orchids (symbolizing fertility); and narcissus (symbolizing good fortune). Classic blue and white porcelain from the Chinese Tang dynasty were paired with touches of rose quartz at the table setting, and a modern setup was created for the tea ceremony.
